Maybe his hearing is starting to go? I know old people who have that happening start to talk louder and sometimes more often.
Did you learn anything from the history of cats lesson you got from GK? Wink

Maybe. No telling, really. He hears well enough when he wants to. I think he's getting a little senile. It's all fine. He's healthy and happy, just getting a bit old (14 this year). Happens to the best of us.

Bij has half a milk mustache, an anklet on the left, and a light sprinkling of longer white hairs all over his shorter black coat. He even has a few white whiskers, on one side, of his face!

Can we see a pic of GK's mustache and beard please?

I'm lucky then, my peoples make sure no nasty skeeters or fleas or ticks get within a mile of me!

You don't want to come down south then, Bij. Even with all the prevention stuff, one or two nasties still can find the animals. They're crazy. Fortunately, if I put some Adams spray at the doorstep, it seems to keep the travelers out, and the pills I give the kids in high bug time last for a month.

It's a good thing I'm an indoor only kitty then, except when I go out in my carrier for a ride around the building. The mesh is pretty small so no skeeters get inside.

GK is being a pest now. He has decided to make a new nap spot right where I keep my laptop. Fortunately, I'm using it since he decided to kick the cord to the floor.
