Scallops, squash, and potatoes from the farm. Tasty! A nice crisp white on the side - TGIF!

And tonight was Chinese food. Not the best thing in the world, but it filled in the empty spaces.

I grill a steak with a baked potato, along with sauteed golden squash and spinach. Some specie of red wine.

That sounds delicious.

Tonight was flounder/squash/onions with fennel fronds baked in packages with buttered noodles on the side. Fresh blueberry tart for dessert.

BLT at my friend's house. She has a huge tomato patch. Mine at home aren't quite ready.

Gazpacho. I get to harvest my friend's tomatoes while I take care of her horses, and I have to figure out what to do with so many. Her garden is huge.

My friend has some that are about the size of a child's head. They're crazy. I plan to cook those somehow. Roasting sounds good.

Tonight, I celebrated tomato season with the classic Southern tomato sandwich.

Tasty! Smile

Tonight was garlic shrimp and pasta with garden green beans on the side. Had to drink some of the nice dry white wine I used in the shrimp. Smile

Made our version of ratatouille. It's one of my favorite things to do with the loads of summer tomatoes.

The CSA had okra in it this week, so I see a small gumbo some time soon.

I'm not a huge okra fan, but I love gumbo for some reason. I won't eat the stuff any other way.
