OhLord, my mouth is watering at the thought of chicken and broccoli. I wonder how it would be run through a blender....

It would look pretty gross, but might taste ok. You could puree it and make it into soup.

Chicken is in the crock pot to make soup for a cold night. Trying to decide if we want rice or noodles. I'm leaning towards rice. I might get some lemongrass and ginger to make an oriental chicken and rice soup. We could do rice or rice noodles that way. No need to put it in the soup. Just make before serving.

There was no grocery store today, so we had chicken enchilada soup. It was quite tasty.

Turkey breast on the grill with acorn squash also on the grill. Delicious. It was fun grilling in the snow.

I have some chicken broth from a local farm chicken. It made the most beautiful schmalz. I scraped that off to use somewhere else and used the broth to make a wonderful chicken soup. I put in onion, carrot, celery, bok choi bottoms, and some winter radish. I let the veg cook until soft and labeled the hot stuff over the bok choi tops and some rice noodles. It was fabulous.

Shepherd's pie to chase away the chill. We still have power, so the oven was in operation.

I LOVE fish sticks and onion rings. Found a restaurant in Richmond that has the best onion rings I've eaten in a long time.

I buy these from the frozen section of Whole Foods. They work very well in the oven.

Tonight was roasted chicken, noodles, and cauliflower. I know a lot of people don't like the white veg, but I think it's delicious.

Last night, we went to a shelter event. The food was delicious. It was "finger" food that required toothpicks and forks. Smile We had fun raising money for the animals. The event was very successful, and the shelter got even more than they expected.

Salmon with steamed broccoli run through the food processor.

I am getting tired of not being able to chew anything...

That does sound mighty tasty. I'll see if I can get some leeks at the farmers market. I know I can get the potatoes.

Tonight I broiled a steak, had sauteed spinach with some squash and red onion. I used toasted seasome oil, garlic and ginger to season. I also baked an acorn squash then seasoned with butter and nutmeg. Nice red wine.

That sounds awesome. Tonight was chicken and veg in the slow cooker. I just cut up potatoes, cabbage, onion, and carrot and put a whole chicken on top. I cooked it for about 8 hours. The skin had to be peeled off, but the meat was really tasty. The veg was so good that my husband even ate some.
