Fritata with cilantro, chorizo, and salsa. It was really good. Wish I had some salad left from lunch to go on the side.

OMG! We went out to dinner with a friend. I had a couple slices of a very tasty Greek pizza (feta, tomatoes, garlic, spinach, and olive oil). I had them hold the olives because I just don't like them. I am so full, I'm about to pop. It was a very fun day.

I found these in the frozen section of Whole Foods. It's their house brand. Cooks in 425 oven about ten minutes.

Typical new year's dinner... Pork loin, sauerkraut (yes... I love the stuff), and mashed potatoes.

It was cold, so chili was a necessity.

I do "northern" chili with beans in it. Texas chili is good, but I prefer some veg in mine. Smile

I put the beans on the side. Little islands of cool in a bowl of heat.

Last night... A fried catfish sandwich that was so big I couldn't eat the whole thing and fries that were actually thick sliced potatoes fried perfectly on the side. Wow! I really liked Dot's Back Inn tucked away in a nice neighborhood in Richmond.

Split pea soup tonight. Satisfying. It brought back memories of childhood. I need to figure out how to make it taste like my mom's.

Dragged out the clay cooker and did a curry type chicken. Had a red wine to go with it, great recommendation. Have enough left for meals later in the week. Dinner in the Lair sucks.

Sounds delicious.

Tonight was flank steak marinated in garlic, olive oil, oregano, olive oil, and cooked on the grill. Mashed sweet potatoes and green beans on the side. A nice pinot noir too. Spicy enough. Yum!

Try pizza in a bowl run through a blender......looks like hell but tasted good. I could actually eat it too.

Thinking maybe soft poached salmon with sweet potatoes.

Tonight was chicken and broccoli, a combination I swore off after my mom fed it to us about a million days in a row. But, it was really good tonight.
