Hooray.....the EGSM was out for a few minutes yesterday here. I got up as high as I could on the back of the couch and glared at it.

Antonio and I hide. It's amazing how much power the humans have over it.

I used to not care about it. Now I have to hide in the kitchen cupboard.

Tonio had to go to the vet. I hid to make sure that I didn't get captured too. It scares when Meowmy gets the traveling jail out. Trina

Trina, I do not like the traveling jail either, but my meowmy bought me one that is fun. I get in and go for walkies with my dog! I thought it would be terrible, but I like it. I can sniff things I can't in my safe house, and see BIRDS. They are so fun to watch. When it gets nicer outside, my meowmy says that maybe I can use my rolling jail to sit on the porch so I can see more BIRDS.

It can be, trust me. I see more birds outside in my traveling kitty jail going for a ride than I do from my window.

While we didn't have sun puddles it's been nice enough for the front door to be open. It's fun to look out and see the world go buy and smell all the interesting scents. Trina

Sunny again today, but still too chilly for open windows. Meowmy says it's going to rain tomorrow. I am not very happy about that.

Yes, they are here now. The paper works says they are feral and they've got that right. Right now I don't have a story for them. It's a mom, whom I've named Waif, the kits I've named Inky, Binky and Nod. The kits are all black and the mom is a dilute calico, I think. Right now everybody is chilling. According to the paper work Mom is six months. A kitten having kittens don't even get me started.

Poor little mom. I'll spare everyone the ranting...

Did the rescue have an opportunity to spay her, or is she waiting until the kits are weaned and they've had a chance to become more comfortable with people?

There are four kits. The fourth one is named Winky. So far everyone is doing well. I will have some snaps later. Waif will be spayed when the kits are weaned. She's pretty feral so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she will tame up.

Update on Waif and family. I think the kits have put on a little weight. They felt like they weighed about four ounces, the same as a stick of butter. They now feel a little heavier. I'm giving two of them eye drops for an eye infection but I think one of them should see a vet. They eating well and using the litter box like champs. Waif is still behind the shelves.

You know I did weigh them or at least two of them and they are five and half ounces.

Big kits are happy kits. Smile I hope the one with eye problems can see the vet soon. Better safe than sorry, right?

Mouski is sending sleepy kitty purrs to the little ones and their shy momma.
