He was a little nicer last night....mom was mad at him. He'd climbed way up and ate half a fake plant, then puked up half of that all over the apartment. I have litterbox watch duty to find the other half.
I finally got real attention at my place, which he gladly came to without mom at a trot. Got in my tub to check it out, up on my bed, then in my livingroom chair and proceeded to curl up hoping to nap. No such luck, mom came to get him and take him home.
I even got nitenite kisses for the first time in a long time.

Aww! That's the way to be, Bij. Smile

I bet that 1/2 a plant is gone for good. My parents' dog ate a rubber spatula. 1/2 came out, and the other end disappeared. They took him to the vet wondering if it was lodged somewhere in his guts. Nope. It was gone. They never did find it.

I haven't seen it yet in the litterpan. Last Friday the lil guy had a distemper shot so slept a lot, then threw up his dinner. Now back to normal. I got some snuggles in last night and will try to get more tonight.

I had to insist on a few 'hold the kitty' sessions, Bij was glued to mom mostly all evening. At least I got some puppy love from two dogs I met outside the library when I dropped off the movie we watched over the weekend.

Smile My kitties are starting to be standoffish. I think the warmer weather has them seeking cooler spaces. It's supposed to be downright hot tomorrow. I'm sure all the firkids will be under fans.

So has Bij: the bathroom tile, in front of the fan, by the fridge (the bottom of the gasket leaks a little so cool air). It was very hot and humid today!
Didn't see the little guy tonight, he's too busy power napping to notice anything, even mom having dinner didn't wake him up. Guess last nights' storms kept him up again so he's making up the lost sleep.
We have more storms coming again late tonight. I may have to settle for a sleeping Bij and no attention tomorrow night.

The kitties here didn't eat much today because they were hot. I need to start cutting back on the crunches. I hate to waste them.

Neutral I think kitties just go through snub times. It doesn't matter if it's their favorite, they're just going to snub. Kitties.

I finally can come in here now that I've found my wits (don't tell meowmy or my Lori).......we had a horrible storm two nights ago that scared me half to death! All of a sudden the sky got really really dark, it got super windy out, the birds all hid somewhere, it rained so hard I couldn't see outside my window. I ran to meowmy and pawed her arm...."please pick me up and protect me!". Then the big booms came, with flashing light, something hard hitting the windows, and I just wanted to hide! I seemed to go on and on and on and on.....I didn't think it would ever stop. My Lori came over to comfort me but I wanted meowmy!
Last night I gave my Lori a little attention, she seemed to need it.

Oh, Bij! There was a storm like that near here too. We escaped at our house, but I feel bad for my friend's kitty. She was scared too. Her meowmy was at work. Her caddy was home, but she wanted her meowmy.

OhMyCat, was meowmy mad at me last night! She'd had lots of stuff go wrong all day long....and she got diet 7up on me! Nearly the entire kitchen did too...she dropped that can and it spit at everything it could reach! I knew the big sucking machine was bad but this was the first time a pop can spit on me. My Lori came to clean up the mess and meowmy was soooooo mad at my being right there trying to help her get something out of the fridge (in case it was my dinner) that my Lori got my leash and took me home with her. Meowmy didn't even know I was gone until she came to my Lori's about 2 hours later! How could meowmy not miss me? I was a good boy for my Lori though, I ate crunchies, drank the water she gave me, used my second potty, and asked to look out the window (she obliged by raising the blinds so I could see). I even settled in for a nap on her giant cat bed! I was nearly asleep when meowmy decided it was time for me to go home. They had cake but didn't share. My Lori apologized for that saying it was chocolate and kitties can't have chocolate. I just had to escort her home to make sure she got there okay, no barkypersons to scare her. I was a brave boy, wasn't I?

I know, it tasted funny when I took my bath. I made sure to give my Lori a lot of kitty snuggles last night to thank her for taking me away until meowmy calmed down. Meowmy finally forgave me (for what I don't know) so I gave her some cuddles too.
Last night my Lori gave me my dinner so I gave her thankyou kisses and purrs, lots of cuddles....and a nice escort home later to tuck her in.

Bij, that was awful that your Meowmy got so mad at you over an accident. My Meowmy gets mad when things like that happens, but never with me. Glad everything is now calm and everyone is fine. Tonio

Last night, or was it this morning, I just had to go see my Lori. She'd left for home while I was napping so I didn't get to escort her home. I was worried. I snubbed the foodies my meowmy was bribing me with so I'd go back to bed so she took me, grumbling about it being 1:30am. We woke my Lori up, meowmy put me in her bed so I could make sure she was okay. I purred and kissed her and sniffed her all over. Meowmy wouldn't let me stay long though and dragged me back home.

Last night I got to love on my Lori for a while at her place, and enjoy the fresh air coming in the window! She even set me up on the windowsill since I couldn't quite get to it no matter how much I tried to move that new curtain out of my way. I tried and tried and tried but I just didn't have quite enough reach to move it aside from the sill from the couch. It looks different in there now that those blue curtains are up with the lace ones. Got a nice dinner too, and catnip! Made sure to give my Lori nitenite kisses before meowmy dragged me off towards home. Ed was nowhere in sight and I looked for him too.

It sounds like a nice night. My meowmy closed the windows because it is sticky outside. She says it makes the floor feel wet. I know that I love having the windows open. I don't know why she thinks sticky matters.

It wasn't open yesterday or today....it was hot yesterday. I could feel it through the window glass so I camped out on the couch where the cool airs blow. I snuggled with my Lori a lot too, that made her happy. Made sure to give mom plenty too. No escort home since I was too comfy cozy to move from my just-right spot but I did give nitenite kisses so she wouldn't feel puny. She tells me she sleeps better when I give her kisses nitenite and cuddles.
