You should see Meowmy when I decide to snub my food. The begging is something to behold. Tonio

MOL!

I actually snubbed a tiny leaf of freshly picked catnip. Think they'll think I really am sick if I do that? I ate it when meowmy put it on top of my wetfood, like a garnish. It was good. The lump on my neck is hard and a bit uncomfortable. I won't let my Lori give me the long chin rubs anymore, it bumps that lump. It was gone for a while, now it's back. Nobody knows why.

I hope it goes away some. My meowmy says she has heard that they can shrink.

It hasn't so far but it's not bigger either. My Lori is careful with the chin rubs now so she doesn't poke it. I get a nice wetfood lunch, plus two dinners now! Last night I got lots of pics taken of me and my Lori gave me a schmouse in my own special stocking at her place!

I'm glad spot hasn't gotten bigger. Meowmy says I have to cut back just a tad. I got some new toys too. Normally Meowmy makes a donation in my name to one of the rescues. Tonio

I got a new schmouse with catnip spray on it. Made me feel like a kitten again! I got lots of snuggles for Christmas and salmon for dinner-which I snubbed. My Lori was pleading with me to eat it, she'd cooked it specially for me but I wasn't in the mood for fish.
I go to her place nearly every night, all on my own dragging that infernal leash. Why they put that dratted thing on me I don't know, something about rules. Even if I can't see all that well anymore I know the way by heart. I helped meowmy last night work on the puzzle in my Lori's place. Meowmy didn't seem thrilled with my help though.

One day my meowmy fed Petie a whole breakfast of treats. She said she should not feed kitties before coffee. Now I have to wait until she starts her coffee so I don't get the same yummy mistake. I think it would be ok if it happened.

Then I'm a lucky kitty.....I'm getting warm wetfood 4 times a day now. I try for 5 but no luck so far. Meowmy says my backbone isn't sticking out anymore but my Lori says my butt is still awfully thin. For New Years she made shrimp but I snubbed it. I wanted STEAK!

So do I! Fresh salmon or shrimp is not cheap.

Bij was glued to my lap Friday and Saturday night but I got snubbes last night. No idea why, I greeted him, petted him, asked how my little sweetheart was, pleaded, picked him up several times.....and he still left. I'm going to try my catnip perfume and see if that helps.

I had salmon for lunch today and was amazed that none of the cats came to try a bite. They must have been having good dreams!

Would have to be great dreams no to wake up the smell of salmon!
Bij has been extra clingy and needy lately.  Sticks to mom all day long, then me all evening.  Reminded me of this comic, I asked mom if she needed a baby snuggie bag: http://www.breakingcatnews.com/comic/local-cat-needier-than-usual-today/ may 12, 2016 strip

Looked funny at us sitting side by side on the couch (my chair fell apart and the floor isn't soft), thought for a few moments, then curled up on my lap for the evening until time for first dinner.  Back for burping and more snuggles afterwards.  Trip to my place to check the catnip plant (poor thing died of old age last week), so got dried nip for a treat in his bowl instead.
fif

I have to lead my Lori home and check the place out, ask for my treat since I know I'm a good boy, then lead meowmy home and tuck her into bed.
Why do peoples seem to forget which way to go to get home late in the evening?  Are they getting senile?

My Lori's been very busy with paperwork, inspections, house sitting, and trying to get enough of one kind of fabric to make livingroom curtains.
My catnip plant died. Sad My Lori says it was old age.

Oh no! Nip death. The good think, my meowmy says, is that maybe the roots are okay, and you might see some sprouts when it warms up. Our plant has begun growing green leaves. She planted a new one last year.

My Lori said it died of old age since catnip is an annual plant, whatever that is. After over a month I got tiny, fresh spring catnip my Lori found in the yard! OhBoy, was it good!

Bij has been mom's velcrokitty for days and days and days. Occasionally I can convince him to be my velcrokitty....and he was tonight. Tucked tightly right under my chin, leaning into my throat, purring so loud I could barely hear anything else. Nice escort home too.
Oh, he's used my litterpan several times in the past two weeks. Guess he's starting to get more comfortable with using it if he absolutely has to.
