Bob has been so affectionate lately, and in between hugs and cuddles, he's been bringing me mice from the basement - LOTS of them. Some I catch before he does them in and can save them, and sometimes it's too late. He will coo and purrrrt at me to wake me up so that I can "admire" and accept his gifts.

Awww! He wants to be sure you get some of the delicious feast he's provided. Smile I'm sure the little creatures are coming in to find a warm winter spot. We haven't seen any inside -- yet. I'm sure they will be visiting soon enough unless Killmouski lives up to his name.

Yes, he is a very good kitty. He's trying very hard to keep me happy with all of the tricks in a kitty cat's book. This morning he even rubbed and bumped up against me while I used the hair dryer. He's acting absolutely starved for attention! I can't get anything done around the house! (I'm really not complaining!)

Sounds like he's telling you the house is just fine. "Pay attention to the kitty!"

He's being a very good kitty...keeping you company, helping you with housework, supervising everything you do. Loads of loving attention so you don't get too lonely missing the rest of the family. And showering you with gifts so you know how much he loves you.
Keep it up Bobby!

I am not feeling well due to a bad cold, so I haven't been here much.  That's not to say I haven't been busy, because it's been crazy here!  The movers came and took all my possessions away on Monday, so we packed up Bobby and are now in our temporary home at my brother's house.  Bobby made the 10 mile trip well, and is settling in just fine over at Greg's place.  Next Wednesday morning we will set off on our big adventure, stopping at Tulsa, Oklahoma that night, Albuquerque on Thursday night and then on to the new house, where he will be reunited with his pups and Wesley on Friday!!!  We will be about 10 days short of 3 months apart - I am so curious about how they will all react when they see one another again!  Hug

I'm putting money on a joyous reunion. The pups will be very happy, and Bobby will be a bit less enthusiastic. Smile I am sure everyone will remember each other, and will be very relieved to get back to the new normal. Very Happy

A very joyous reunion is my bet. Hope Bobby likes the new house and view from the windows. I know everyone will be glad the moving part is over.

I was thinking about how GREAT your timing is. You left just before the North Pole decided to visit the Midwest. Smile Feeling better? I hope so! How is Bobby?

We're here! Bobby was an absolute gem the entire time. I couldn't have asked for a better trip with a cat. We did drive through some COLD and a bit of snow too.

Argo was very sweet and lovey, but my little princess Lyra was giving me the royal shnub! I'll have to work on her to get her back on my side. She must have felt a little abandoned by me.

Yeah! You're home! I love you cheers

Sounds like Lyra is holding a grudge. I'm sure she'll come back to you though. Lots of love (sprinkled with treats) is the cure! Smile

So glad you made it....and away from all this cold! I'm sure Lyra will forgive you soon enough. Just a matter of did she miss you more than she's p.o.'d at you for 'abandoning' her. At least Argo isn't holding a grudge. Very happy to hear Bobby was such a great travel companion. Bet he looked out the window a lot checking out the scenery going by, didn't he?

Lyra began warming up to me again after about 48 hours of the big shnub. We seem to be OK now.  Bobby, who was my clinging vine when we were living on our own, is back to his regular self. In the car, for the first day, he was a kittle uneasy, not letting himself rest very thoroughly.  On days two and three, he decided that everything was OK, so he was able to sleep better in his crate.  Looking out at everything whooshing by so fast made him a little nervous.  He didn't do a whole lot of that.  We were also being buffeted quite a lot by the wind much of the time, so it was noisy and wobbly in the car.  His box was more comforting to him.

Glad the Big Freeze is thawing out. It's funny how they let you know exactly how they feel about something.
