Hey, JB - go look at the calendar! I changed a setting, and associated the calendar with the Members Special Events forum, and now when you put something on the calendar, it shows there and also in a new topic.

What would happen if I put Bijoux's birthday on the calendar? He already has a topic of his own.

I'm not sure what would happen, Fif. Try it and see - but my guess would be that it would start a new topic on the Members' Special Events forum (which I've renamed Members' & Furry Friends' Special Events). That's what happened to me when I did it last night. I'll try putting in Bobby's b-day and we'll see what happens.

Editing to say, yes it does make a new topic in that forum.

Anyway to either keep it from doing that or delete the new topic which isn't needed?

The birthday is on the calendar itself, and in putting it there, it made that other topic. Confusing...

Yes, Bobby turned 10 at the end of July, and the pups turned two last week. Once in awhile I get the urge to add another kitty, but we really do have enough pets in the house as it is, and everyone seems happy with the configuration. It just seems weird to me to have two dogs and one cat, when we had two cats and one dog for so many years.

Check Out My Chatterbox, Lyra!

Post by BobCat on Mon Oct 18, 2010 2:41 pm

If you can access it, you may get a kick out of the blog entry I posted yesterday at my regular blog site, http://bluecat1105.blogspot.com/ . It shows Lyra in action (Argo too - but he's quiet), when they see a squirrel at the p-a-r-k!

Can't see the video at all, just blank space. But the votive reminds me more of a cat imitating me of the old Dracula movie where Bela Lugosi was hiding his face behind his cape.

So, Fif, you could see the pictures on the blog? That library of yours must be loosening their restrictions on blogs! By going to the blog you could at least see some of the still photos of the pups and Bobby.

oh yeah...they'd love it here too...the squirrels are running around like crazy getting all the nuts they can find as soon as they drop!
odd....there are smaller squirrels out there with the big squirrels. we must have had a late summer early fall squirrel boom!

Yesterday, I put a little, poorly shot video of a very cute little Lyra, trying her best to get her daddy's attention while he was taking a catnap on the couch. I believe there's a link to my blog by my avatar. Take a peeky! (Can you tell I find her absolutely adorable???) ♥♥♥
