Cosette is a little pistol. Today she was doing side hops on the couch, and hopped right off onto the dog. Skip was not amused. Now Cosette puffs all up when she sees a dog. She has decided to be friends with Kevin, however. She has tried to play with several of the big cats. Most of them found excuses to leave the room. Errol played with her a bit, and kind of put one paw on her head to keep her from pouncing on him.

I will try for new pictures, but she doesn't hold still much now. I mainly get blurry tail ends.

OhMy, what fun! Maybe you can get a decent pic while she's sleeping or eating? She has to be still for at least a few minutes for that.

I bought a "kitty condo" from Petco, and it was delivered a few days ago. I finally got the chance to clear a space for it on the front porch, and we put Cosette and Bobby out in it for awhile today. It's a big wire crate, basically, four feet high, with some shelves to rest on. Bobby stretched out on the lower shelf. It has faux shearling on it, and he loved making star paws on that. Cosette spent most of the time in the little cat crate I put in there. She was a little freaked out. Weather permitting, we'll be putting them out there for some fresh air during the day when we're home. They can watch the birds at the feeder and practice some climbing skills. I'm sure she'll come around and enjoy some of the "great outdoors" safely.

That sounds like great "G'. little secure outside
time. Hopefully she will settle down and come out
from the crate.

Awwww...........I'm sure once she gets over the shock of the environment change and see how Bobby is handling it with no theatrics, Cosette will come around and enjoy it.

The last two days it's been to hot to put the babies out in their condo. It's been 110 degrees! They'll get their fresh air time once the weather settles down a bit. Instead, they've had some play time on the couch, in the hallway, and in the bedroom.

Yikes! That's too hot for healthy adult kitties, not to mention kittens. Stay cool, everyone!

I got a picture of Bobby today while he was practicing his climbing skills on the back of the sofa. He had to hold still because his claws were stuck. Still no luck getting anything but blurs of Cosette, but I'll stay on it.

In this Blog Post, I shared a photograph of my Ruby.  She was our first cat after we got married.  She and Blue were great together.

Ruby was a gorgeous little kitten.  I can't understand why some people don't like torties.  I think they're wonderful.

Thank you. I can't understand that either... Ruby was beautiful, with a little round head and big round eyes. We used to call her our "little owl." she also was SO fluffy, but weighed nothing - like she was full of feathers!
