Wait Wait Don't Tell Me? What is that?

Can't believe you don't know this... it's out of Chicago! Razz It's a weekly NPR radio show that makes a fun quiz game out of the news. It's bright, witty, topical, and sometimes hilarious.

This from some website:

Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! is NPR's weekly hour-long quiz program. Each week on the radio you can test your knowledge against some of the best and brightest in the news and entertainment world while figuring out what's real news and what's made up.

It's on (here) at noon on Saturday and rebroadcast Sunday at 11:00 am. Perfect for mealtime listening. Look for it. If you keep up with the news at all, you'll love it.

AHHH!!Cupboard love. Tonio showed interest in my dinner. Baby
back ribs, I baked them in the oven with lemon, salt and pepper. Then I glazed them
with a cranberry/pomegrante pickled ginger glaze. Mashed potatoes and lima beans and sliced
tomatoes. I had a rose to go with it. Very good. I'm trying different whites, with the occassional
rose thrown in.

We ha ribs last night too, but ours were spareribs, done on the grill with a Bronzeville Rib Rub from The Spice House, and a light barbecue sauce at the end. Potato salad and sliced tomatoes for us as well; the first ones from my brother's garden. I've only got cherry tomatoes from mine so far.

We're not big into wine these days, but in summer I usually prefer whites, sine they can be served colder.

I did too, for a minute, JB. I thought maybe she was treating herself to some flowers on the dinner table. Of course, I can't even remember the last time I drank rosé wine, so it didn't spring to mind. In this warm weather, I don't drink alcohol often. I had a Mike's Hard Lemonade after work on Friday, while listening to the roofers bang away overhead and watching Fiddler on the Roof (honest, it wasn't a conscious choice because there were people up there!) on the DVR. I just had some time on my hands and the satellite dish was down, so I had to watch taped shows, and Fiddler was one I had been waiting to watch. Wesley's not a big musical fan, and he was working late, so Bobby, Argo, Lyra and I watched...as I tried to come up with Yiddish nicknames for them. (Bobby already has one = Mendel - as did Grommit = Herschel- and Blue = Sender...it's a long story...) Anyway, I'm leaning toward Avram for Argo, and Golde for Lyra. What do you think?? Or should she be Chava?

i'm thining ice cream on my walk to the village and maybe hop into a Wendys that not far from MoCCA before the signing. i could use one of their fish sandwiches.
i had french toast and enough bacon (I think turkey bacon but i don't mind it was good)to make a sandwich. so yeah i had too much bread today (the sandwich was made from 100% whole grain whole wheat bread though)but it was good;)

I hate when the gluttons do that. I refuse to call them pigs, it's an insult to the
pigs.
