Bedlam Farm: a really cool website/blog

Post by gbste on Tue Mar 20, 2012 7:56 pm

I got the book Katz on Dogs by Jon Katz for my birthday. I really like the book, and Mr. Katz's website is absolutely gorgous. You mutties will love it, I think.

Nice, site. I was a little upset when she says she was out with gun to get the fox.
NOT COOL!!!! Foxes eat rodents.

Thanks for the link, gbste. I've saved it to look at properly later.

I didn't like the attempt to shoot the fox either, but he ended up photographing the fox instead. So far it's turned out that the donkeys are guarding the barnyard. The fox wants nothing to do with them.

That's great, because they really will do him a good turn. As to the chickens well after having
cleaned a few hen houses in my day. GO FOX!!!!!!

I haven't delved into the posts much yet, but I appreciate the thought that's gone into them. I believe some genuine soul searching is extant. Ma Nature is no sweetheart, and neither are we humans. Easy to talk the talk from the burbs; harder to walk the walk on the farm.
