Those Spring breezes will stir you up, won't they? I've felt like racing around quite a bit lately. Twisted Evil

There has been a few days in the past few weeks where Pugsley was doing laps and begging to be played with. He does this without warning and he is the only one who knows why he goes through spells of bouncing off the walls.

It's damp and warm today. We are keeping the windows open in my annual protest against early air conditioning. So, Petie is relaxing on the arm of the chair. He's telling me it's too humid to play. Gateway and GK agree. Everyone is drooping around. But, I just can't bring myself to turn on the AC before June. The fresh air does us all good even if it's damp. I'm sticking to my guns!

You do it, girl! I'm the same way. The windows are open at every opportunity in this house, be it winter or summer, whether it's the furnace or the AC that goes off. I think I dislike the AC more than the furnace; for some reason it feels even more like "canned air" to me. Don't get me wrong, I'll use it (gratefully!) when the time comes, but I'll sweat through humidity, and even 90's, as long as possible. Last few nights have been some sweaty sleeping, but the next few days look lots better. Hope the same for you & the furs!

I love my a/c and the fan that Meowmy has set up. I make sure I get all
the prime spots. Tonio cat

I bet Petie likes having the AC on in the summertime, doesn't he?

We are really not typical AC users. I agree with Suzzzz. I like having the AC when it's HOT outside, but we keep the windows open as much as possible. When we do turn the thing on, we leave it set at 78 just to get the humidity out of the air. I don't mind being warm. The kitties don't seem to mind the warmer temps.

Right now, it's cool and windy. Very pleasant with the windows open. We only had to suffer through 2 moist, warm days. Not bad at all for late May in southeast VA.

I like having the humidity gone too. It was quite hot and sticky here for a few days. Bij didn't want to go out for his walker ride until late, when the hallways finally cooled down some.

It's been muggy but not hot here. There is a tropical storm (this early???!!!) off the coast of NC, which brought us a lot of rain and humidity. It's better this evening, and the kitties are a bit more active. Yesterday, they slept a lot. Of course, with the rain and dreary light, I slept a lot too. It felt good!

Petie has decided to act like an old kitty. He's been grumping around the house all day. I think the weather is bothering his arthritis. I gave him an extra Cosequin, which I hope helps. Sometimes, it seems to upset his tummy, but I have noticed that he moves better when he's on it.

Hey, Petie. Your Ma says your arthur-itis hurts you. Mine does, too. Ma gives me joint treats, hairball treats and vitamin treats. The only ones I really like are the vitamin treats. The joint ones sometimes make me erkky, but they do seem to help if I take them every day. The hairball ones are useless but I can't let Ma brush me, it's just too irritating. *sigh* We cats have such a hard life.

My meowmy puts joint stuff on my soft food. I like the food so much I don't pay attention to the stuff. I only get it every other day. Usually it's fine, but sometimes ERK. I feel good today. I'm sleeping next to meow-my.

So far I don't have to take anything. Meowmy gives me a fresh leaf of catnip every
day. Meowmy says it's good for me. I don't eat, just chew it and bat it around.

Petie, I bet the warmth of sleeping next to your meowmy makes your sore joints feel better, doesn't it? Not to mention the mental benefits...........
