I don't understand the booglies watching WofO or laughing at GWTW. I could probably see Suzzzz' reaction before I could see JB's though. What in the world did you find funny about that movie? It's long - I'll give you that - but it's not poorly acted or anything like that. Vivian Leigh was beautifully hateful and Clark Gable was a loveable rogue. Mellie was a bit over the top in her delicacy, but that's about it in my opinion.

i have an unusual sense of humor that's all i should say.
and you're right...that movie is REaaalllllllyyyyy long. if you want me to sit through a movie that's more than 90 min it has to be pretty fast moving or someone in it i like to watch. (there are people i will watch in anything even if its a piece of crap). maybe if they remade GWTW with Jim Carrey,John Travolta,Nic Cage,Stanley Tucci and Oliver Platt and it were directed my Quentin Tarantino....and they cut out that falling down the big flight of stairs scene I might be able to sit through it!

That sounds awful. I wouldn't walk across the street to see Jim Carrey.

oh...that made me laugh..cuz i'm the person who (if they had they had the nerve) would go running right up to him! i've been a fan of Jim's since before he was on In Living Color (though i'll admit there were times i woulda smacked him up side the head to knock some sense into him if i had been his friend).
but there are folks i wouldn't cross the street for either....i don't see what the chicks see in those Twilight guys...but its just my crazy taste.

We sure do have different tastes in movies, stars, classics and TV, don't we? I like to think our diversity is our strength. It's kinda fun to debate these things that don't really matter, eh? Cage? Meh. Travolta I like. GWTW is 2 movies in one, and I like the first half better than part 2, but Vivian Leigh did her job beautifully throughout. Carrey is a one trick pony, but he does his trick extraordinarily well. I think he has unexplored depths. He probably thinks so, too.

Well now that you mention it. I've always liked Gone With the Wind
but was lukewarm on the Wizard of Oz.

Anybody see today"s? If you run your cursor over it the balls all scatter, but I can't click on it to see why the banner is spelled out in lil balls.

Well, I have no idea what that is supposed to signify. I looked in IE and also in the Firefox browser, and in Firefox, the balls get bigger and smaller too, but no indication of what it means.

I guess a lot of people wrote in to ask about it. I still wonder why they did it though.......and it seems Google isn't telling at the moment.

oh well...we share something:) (whenever i have to tell people how to spell my name i tell them its the same as a famous cartoon family but its NOT Flintstone;) ).

who else thought the line in the theme song was 'Rudolph could find a place to eat' instead of 'through the courtesy of Fred's two feet'??

Today would have been John Lennon's 70th birthday. If you click on the banner, an animated video starts playing and one of his can be heard during the video.
