Well everybody is fed. I don't know where the Wild Bunch is hiding but they have been dry
and their coats are looking good. I putting as much food as I can into them. The away group is
also looking good.

Well I've found where at least GW is hiding. She's under the house, I don't know how warm
it is but I know it's dry and they can get far enough back to out of the wind. Also big dogs
can't get under there either. Normally I don't do this but since I saw GW and Tabby I put food
out for over night. I've got that hidden behind a plant that is covered with a tarp, I've moved that tarp
and another one covering some furniture so they can get a little break from the weather will eating.

I always feel bad for the outside critters when the weather is miserable. The feral cat colony down the street from my house sounds similar to your wild ones. They hide in abandoned houses and under occupied ones when the weather turns bad. Poor little guys and girls.

Boomer was also here freeloading.

At least you know GW found a safe, dry place to hunker down that's very close to the food and caring person who leaves it (ie: you). I wonder where GW was yesterday?

Well she showed after dark. It varies, right now it's Tabby doing the day shift, with GW doing
second and Sport showing up for the third. In fact when I came from feeding the away group Sport
was coming from the nursing/retirement home across the street. I had one of the Intruders last night
major cat wars cranked up twice. I broke them up before they really got out hand, I know they must woke
John and Carolyn upstairs.

Anyway everybody is fed and there is water out for them. Maybe there will be peace in the Colony on the
Block tonight.

I sure hope so. Too many wars and you might be banned from feeding your regulars......and that would be a horrible thing to have happen.

Yes, Arni when I started this there was so much opposition. It made me very angry. Things have
calmed down and I'm feeding on my back porch but I keep it quiet and won't talk about what I'm
doing.

Well one of the Intruder's showed up earlier. Luckily no cat wars and I made sure he/she got
something to eat. This cat is a heavier and somewhat older version of GW. Same coat pattern but
no smudge on the nose. Instead of gray and white, the coat is charcole and white. Now I need to get
a closer look to see if he/she has been ear tipped. All the regulars ate tonight. I made sure that wet food
got put out for everybody.

When Petie was a barn kitten, we had him neutered, and the vet ear tipped him. You can't tell now because he has been in so many battles that his ears are a little ragged on the edges. Good luck with your investigation! I hope the ferals are not tearing each others' ears up.

Dpesn't look like. CG(Charcole and Gray) was here last night for dinner. I gave him/her kibble, since it was
in the 60's last night I didn't put out tinned food. Temps are dropping and it's raining so I will tonight.

Thought I'd check in with this. CW was hanging around looking for not only a snack but a
full meal. If one the possums hadn't shown up he would have gotten it. ***SIGH***. Anyway I
scared him when I chasing off the possum. He/she can go much all the stuff that Ole throws out for
the squirrels and birds. GW did something really cute tonight but it was also kind of sad. She stood
up, put her paws on the door and looked in. Poor thing because of the weather she hadn't really gotten
a chance to eat very much today. Anyway, I'm sure the rest will be around for something else to eat.

Awwww..............that is cute and sad too. She was checking out how the other half lives, and maybe debating it's merits. Also hoping you'd come out with a meal for her at that moment I'll bet. Did you take out something for her to eat when you saw her doing that? How did Antonio react (did he see he do that)?

If I had been standing there and seen that I think I probably would've opened the door to let her in. Poor baby.

That story you told about GW in a couple of posts just reminded me of a lot of kitties that I'd take care of in Lansing! I love you

We also had the cat wars, involving CW and Sport. I managed to get it sorted out and then
I put some dinner out for them.

Is it cold there, Sue? The temps here dropped from the 70s to the 40s in one day. It's raining now while the front pushes in. Typical miserable Southern winter. Sigh...

My husband saw a feral who looks like Gateway down the street. I'll bet they're related.

Hear you there Becky, It was a very chilly 50's today. Right now it's in the upper 40's
and supposed to drop about another ten degrees. Right now I'm keeping an eye for GW
and the rest. I hope CW and Sport got some dinner before Boomer showed up.

We were 26° colder yesterday than the day before. It's really gloomy and cold here, so I doubt I'll see any of the ferals around here. Even the squirrels are hunkered down somewhere (it snowed last night).

I hope GW gets a good meal tonight, your weather kinda demands it if they're going to get through it okay. Oh, did Antonio see her peeking in the door?

Well actually it's a great image, the reality is that if Tonio gets out he
chases them. He's not thrilled on the idea of another furperson in the house.
