The guy who played Jin. He fell in love with Hawaii and wanted to stay there, so this show is perfect for him since it's filmed there. He won't be far from his family or home.

I've rediscovered Eureka, and since they've changed some of the premise it seems fresher somehow.

ah,i had a feeling it was him but didn't remember the character name. i have a feeling the guy who played Hurley might come make a guest appearance if the show works out. He really loved Hawaii:)(and people really love him!)
I heard more rumblings about the guys who play 'the smoke monster' and Ben doing a show....just more rumblings. I would love to see it though! (Before they did lost both did a lot of character work on TV).

Oh yeah, Terry O'Quinn was most known for his work on the Stepfather movies before he got the part of Locke on Lost.

I've been watching something in the mornings called Emily Of New Moon on THIS network. Interesting, it's based on books by L.M. Montgomery. Set on Prince Edward Island in Canada.

yep that's him...i just dont' remember names lately. he was on a Matlock i happened upon a few days ago. (so you know he looked different....that show had to be 20yrs old or more!).

If they're showing that Emily show (it sounds canadian) they might show The Worst Witch..i loved that show (its based on books as well but i was only able to find one book).it was about a little girl who goes off to witch school. sort of like the low budget, canadian tv, witch version of harry potter.

Maybe they will show that one eventually. Looks like the Emily one will be going on for quite a while.

I liked some of the summer replacement series.
One was Miami Medical and the other was Flashpoint.
One of my favorites has been canceled . I loved
Cold Case, I don't think it will be out on DVD anytime
soon because of the music rights. I like CSI the original
one I don't know about the CSI: NY because of the Greek
woman has left. I also don't know if I'm going to pick up
CSI: Miami. Looking forward to Hawaii Five 0, looks like it's
going to be fun,

how was miami medical>? wasn't that the one where it was set in a real hospital with real doctors?

all my 'summer' shows are gone til maybe next year except for The Closer and that chick cop show i NEVER can remember the name of! Rizzoli and Isolde?(i miss when all the new shows came on in one week and when they had finished their 12-18 show run they'd repeat every one in order!).

Wasn't the Event supposed to kinda take the place of Lost, a show with a similar format?

You can say it here - at least I THINK you can... Let's try it. Shit My Dad Says. When they say it out loud on TV they call it Bleep My Dad Says. I watched that and Big Bang (it's aboug physicists - why didn't I find this show sooner??) last night too.

I liked the cat episode too, BUT why do writers always show that a person has gone around the bend by having that person become a cat collector? On TV, crazy people always have cats. I keep cats, and I'm mostly sane, actually.

seems like it would be crazier to have 10+ dogs in an apt than the same amount of cats....but maybe cats are easier to work with on tv;)
i'll never call myself a crazy cat lady...i love cats and if society wants to call it crazy its their problem!
But Sheldon was pretty funny with his cats...i'm shocked they didn't let him keep one of the kitties...that tiger one he gave the flashy name to. kitty wouldn't have to be in every episode like Eddie on Frasier, but it would be fun if he showed up now and then!

When I was directing the high school plays here, we had a kitty that came to play practice. He would wander in and out through the set door, and act like he lived in the "living room." He actually was in the play one night. "How did you train that cat?" People were very impressed, and the cat went home with a little gal who was on the tech crew, so it worked out for everyone.

i don't know about cats...he has had wheaton (wheaten?) terriers for years....even when he was still on Fraiser. I think the first one was called Mabel but i'm not 100% on that. I remember stories he'd tell about how high in the air they can jump.
