Petie here. Where does your Ma get those Happy Hips treats, Weezer? I am a happy 14 years old, and sometimes I think my hips aren't so happy. My mom gives me something called Glucosamine, but I don't know what it is. Apparently it helps because I can jump on the couch, but I love treats more than something that sounds like medicine. Do tell!

And Tonio, don't worry about posting on Envoy's thread. I talked to him, and he says he likes kitties. He is willing to share.

Weezer, they are so good. Meowmy says she will get me some more this weekend. I've never
meet a grass eater. Meowmy looks at them on the computer. Are they big? You and Weez are very
wise and mature kitties. I like my grooming sessions better now because Meowmy gives me treats after she
grooms me. Tonio

Bij here...........I'm 10 but sometimes I act like I'm still a kitten. I love treats, but I love a good massaging and back scratch better. My meowmy and my Lori will do both, and sometimes a treat too. I kiss her back.

While I don't act very kitten like. Meowmy says I'm a silly ketteh boy.
Today she was using the computer to talk to her litter mate (my brother), while she was
doing that I hopped up on the back of the couch and starting playing with her head fur.
Meowmy said I was being silly. Tonio

Hi, Petie! Ma gets the treats from a great store here in Chapel Hill called Phydeaux (get it? Fido?) that carries all kinds of stuff for pets. [But no pets! That's wrong! That's what shelters are for! Though they do have adoption days with the shelters sometimes.] Anyway, my Zuke's treats come from there. That might not help you much since you don't live here, but I think Zuke's is online. Do you have a Whole Foods where your Ma shops? She could look there.

Tonio, where does your Meowmy get your treats? Tonio! Stop combing your mama's hair and help Petie! Hoo, youngun, I know you don't need this hip stuff yet, but you just wait.

Meowmy got these at a place called Avenue Barkery. Meowmy says they cater mostly to
barky persons they had those wonderful treats. Meowmy says the store has events to help
barky people find furever homes. Weez Meowmy needs help with her head fur, sometimes it
sticks up. Tonio

My meowmy says there's not a Whole Foods around us, but there is something called Fresh Market. Maybe they will have them. She will check online too. I'll make her do it! Thanks guys and grrrls. I'll be getting treats soon I'm sure.

Tonio, my meowmy has fur issues too. When it's hot, it goes from straight and flat to frizzy and pointy. I don't touch it, but it sure looks like she could do a little grooming. I keep showing her how, but she's a little slow.

I know Petie, beans can be so slow but still I love mine totally.
Still tonight she was being stingy with the treats. She told me I could only
have four. I mean is that not being mean or what?!?!?!? Tonio

Hey Tonio,

Does your tummy start to get full or sick after four treats? If it doesn't, then your Meowmy is doing a good job!! Like a Star @ heaven Maybe if you got five or more treats, you might get sick Urp

trader joes is kinda skimpy on the cat treats but i know they have one type in a jar. the Rescue Kitties can't have them cuz there's fish in 'em but i'll have to see just what they're for. see if they're the type for keeping cats perking and kitty hips happy:)

Four? You get four??? Ma only gives me two!! Oh, this WILL be re-negotiated. I don't mind just the one of the Hip treat cuz that's medicine and we have to follow directions, but I always want more of the vitamin ones. I'm tired of this crap about how I'm old and have a delicate tummy. I've never been delicate in my life! GRRRRRR

Yes, Meowny gives them to me after she brushes me. I just had two and I know she will give me
two more later on. You need to ask your Ma to get the plain chicken flavor, so you can have more.
Your Ma should not be stingy with the treats. That cruel and evil. Dona Arni, my tummy feels just fine.
I know I could eat more but Meowmy says that too many treats are not good for purry persons. Tonio

you kitties enjoy your treats....most of the Rescue Kitties turn their noses up at treats for some reason....they also don't like human food which is okay, its better that way (but all kitties should have one human food they like just so there's something...well...sometimes you have to take medicine and its easier to give in something tasty:))
the only Rescue Kitty that likes treats (cuz she's the only one who gets the fishy ones) is Nobe. and the only one who really likes any human food is Carter. he likes creamy stuff....even vaseline!

Meowmy offers me people foods but I only like cream cheese and butter.
I managed weasel two treats out of her earlier. I was outside and wouldn't get
come in. So she crinkled the treat bag and came trotting right over. When we got back
inside she gave me two treats and told me I was a Silly Kitteh Boy. Tonio

Tonio, try eggies. I tried them the other day and they were GOOD. They are kind of soft like cream cheese or butter, and they taste YUMMY. I also like tomatoes, but that might not be for you. They aren't what most kitties like. I learned to eat a lot of foods during my time as a barn kitty. Now that I'm retired, I like to try everything.

Petie.

Thanks for the tip. Petie. Has your Meowmy got you any of those wonderful
treats yet. What is a barn, is that another type of house. Ours is called a bedsitter.
It's small but cozy. We have a large sunny bedroom and a small sitting room and a bath.
No kitchen. Meowmy has to use the one where she works. Did you know we live right behind
where she works. Tonio.

Hey everybody!!!! I got two extra treats today, and something called Rat Cheese.(A good quality sharp
cheddar- Meowmy). It was so wonderful, I personally think it's too good to give to vermane.(Be nice they
are some sweet ratties here.) Meowmy says she is going to go stand in the rain, because she was doing something
in the Lair that has made her all stinky. Tonio

oh yeah eggs are good...for humans and critters:) (according to the good Dr of Oz humans are supposed to have three a week to help with various cancers and manacular degeneration (can't spell it..but its an eye problem) I know with critters its a good protein and makes your fur shiney:)

Hey, Tonio, Weezer's Ma here. I used to get something called "rat cheese" at a local grocery in the small NC town I lived in years ago. It was the best cheddar I'd ever had! Then I moved to the "super cool" Rolling Eyes college area where I live now, and no such thing was to be found. Believe me, I tried. I haven't thought of that in years. Enjoy!

Weezer's Ma and Bijoux, it was soooooooo good. I even got some today along with extra
treats. If I play hard to get Meowmy brings out the BRIBES!!!!!!. Wink Tonio

Suzzz, a good cheddar is almost impossible to come by anymore. In fact a lot of cheeses that we
enjoyed as children are now considered artisnal and we pay an arm and a leg for. Sue

There's a Wisconsin cheese maker at our local farmer's market, which has finally started in June, and we got an aged white cheddar with basil last weekend. It's absolutely divine! Bobby is a cheese boy too.
