So, did the woman who is having cancer surgery, take care of the colony at the Boys & Girls Club as well as at Baylor?

Yes, she did. In fact I meet one of the cleaning crew tonight and introduced myself. Also saw a very
lovely Siamese type DMH, he/she had lynx markings. Very calm when I approached. Nada at the other
two stations. Same here at the retirement/nursing home, also at Ed's.

Usual duet from Oreo and Sport. Boomer and GW across the street, I need to go to bed. I walked in about
ten minutes ago. Had to check the Lair and pick Oreo and Sports food dishes.

Isn't it nice to be greeted so cheerfully by Oreo and Sport when you come home? I bet they'd snuggle with you a while as way of thanks if you had the time to relax after their dinnertime. I know Oreo definitely would.

So are there other volunteers that are temporarily taking care of this lady's colonies? Sounds like lots of work... bounce

Back about fifteen minutes ago. Again nada at the retirement/nursing home.
I just left water since the food bowl was missing again. I think may just start leaving
water over there. I think everybody is eating to well over there. Nothing at Ed's. Had Oreo and
Sport being their musical selves. Boomer and GW across the street. Gw is starting to come towards
me when she sees me coming with the food.

As to Baylor, nothing at the first stop. The food is disappearing, so who knows. At the second stop
I saw a dark colored kitten at a dead run in the parking lot on the other side of some bushes. I've started
putting a small clear dish in the bushes. I will do the same with the water tomorrow night. No one at the
Boys and Girls club.

I almost forgot to answer your question Arni, yes she does. She was trying to manage about 14 or 15 colonies on
her own.

I'll bet raccoons are taking the dishes away. They are little thieves. Good idea just to leave water for now. If raccoons are around, the kitties aren't getting any food anyway.

I'd look for kitties, then leave food out. Otherwise it's not doing them any good if the raccoons are not only eating the food first, but stealing the dishes too.

So glad Oreo and Sport don't have that problem. They serenade you before dinner, and you know for a fact they're getting dinner. GW must be starting to trust you. I wonder how long before she starts singing for her supper too?

Mine too, she was one of the people feed in the middle of the night. While I feed late, I don't
run as late as she did.

Well tonight it was back to the Great Kibble Run. I take Saturday night off, there is another woman
who covers for me. No sightings at either of the Baylor stops. At the Boys and Girls Club i spotted three or
four kittens. It was one tabby and two or three black. They had disappeared by the time I left, they could have
been in the bushes but if they were I couldn't see them

On the home front all quiet at the retirement/nursing home and at Ed's. I will be making that run earlier than I normally
do since Ed is out of town for a week. Oreo and Sport were singing up a storm tonight. In fact I could here them in my
living room since I had the t.v. off. Boomer and GW across the street.

I know and we almost had the cat wars tonight when I got back from the Great Kibble Run..
Here was the usual crowd, though I thought I saw a tortie that Celia has been trying to trap for
months. I think something has happened to feeding station on the far side of the retirement home.
I haven't seen any cats there in at least two weeks. I'm still going to put water out but no food. At
Ed's one of the local freeloaders was out.

I finally saw a cat at my first stop of the Run. Couldn't get a good look at him/her could only tell
that it was black and running like a bat out of Boston. Don't where i spooked the cat from and couldn't
tell where it went. Nothing at the second and third stop.

Fif, I don't want to even think about it.

Well no one at Ed's. On the home front, Boomer has decided to cross the
street and eat. AUGH!!!! Anyway feed him, Oreo and Sport. Everybody had left by the
time I got back from the Run. GW was waiting for me in her usual spot.

Not a cat to be seen on the first two stops. At the Boys and Girls the Siamesse X and the
nursing mom where waiting in a door way. When I went back to the feeding station, there were
three raccoons on top of a fence. Children all I could think of was potential fur coats. I know they are
also God's creations but I don't neccesarily have to like them. I didn't put food or water down at the
station but I left enough in the door way so the cats I saw could get a snack.

Shame you can't put those bowls inside something small enough for kitties to get in but not raccoons. Or set the bowls right in front of the kitties and guard them while they eat in peace.

Good advice Becky. No sightings at the either of the Baylor stations.
At the Boys and Girls Club the Siamesse X was lolling in a door way. She got
up and started towards the feeding station, I put a limited amount of food out and
water. When I was back in the van I saw the nursing mom crossing the street. There were
two kittens that followed a minute or so later. One black, one a brown tabby. So hopefully they also
got something to eat.

At the home front all quiet at Ed's and the retirement home. Oreo and Sport were waiting for me.
Boomer stayed across the street and GW couldn't get to her spot fast enough.

So ends tonight's adventures. I'm going to have a glass of Cranberry/apple hard cider and hit
the bed.

Well tonight's adventures were. On the home front Boomer showed on my side of the
street. I feed him, along with Oreo and Sport. GW had two bowls on the other side of
the street all to herself.

No sightings at Ed's or the retirement home. At Baylor all quiet at the first two stations.
At the Boys and Girls Club, the Siamesse X, I saw two kittens, a black and a tabby. So
that's it for tonight.

No he sauntered up after Oreo and Sport were eating. Tonight it was just Oreo and Sport.
Though I saw Sport about mid morning in the back yard, his tail was somewhat bushed out but
he didn't seem to be upset. Also I saw who I thought was the Tabby tonight at a house next door to
Ed's. Nothing at the retirement home. Another thing when I was coming back from Ed's I saw GW in the
alley way. Tonight I was running later than I normally do.

Nothing at the first two stops at Baylor. At the Boys and Girls Club it was the Siamesse X, Mom and two
kittens one black, one tabby.

So ends tonight's installment.

Don't know. Anyway he was at the feeding station last night an tonight. He really is
sleek. Since I don't do the Baylor run on Saturday, it was only the local crew. Tonight it
was Oreo and Sport outside my door. On the other side of the street it was Boomer and GW.
Didn't do the retirement and Ed's run tonight,

Well did the Run tonight. Found something worrisome at the first Baylor stop.
The water dish was bone dry and there was food down. The dish always has water in
it from one day to the next and the food is always gone. At the second stop the dish had
water in it and the food was gone which is normal. At the B & G (Boys and Girls)Club there was
Sam( Siamesse X) and the mom. I saw two or three kittens across the street. I know I saw two for
sure. Anyway Mom is getting used to the van. She will wait at the front of the building till I get back in
the van the comes to the back door to get a small snack that I leave. Sam is already in position to eat and
I figure that will give Mom a little something till Sam finishes.

Here it was the usual crew. I may move the station to the back instead of the side. We had dogs in the
middle of the night last night. While no one was hurt I think it's time to move to a little more secluded spot.
