Mikey was weird. In addition to cat food, he liked corn bread, corn, roast beef, Taco Bell, White Castles, cheese balls, Cheetos, nacho cheese, potato chips....

Mom, tried to get me interested in yogurt when
Ascot was still here. I'm still not sure what to make
of it. Boo

I can't understand what all the fuss is about human food and catnip.
Then again where i used to live I was lucky to get clean food and
water. Mom is really wonderful about that. Boo

There's no getting around it: good fresh food and clean water is wonderful. I know, I spent a short time on the streets too and am very grateful for my happy home and willing slaves.............Bijoux But I also like to test them by asking for a sample of their dinner, to make sure they'll still share with me.

I supposed a good paw swat isn't enough to kill them? I know biting them must taste very nasty..

Boo, I can tell that catching waterbugs is not in your job description. Pugsley would look at them to see what they are doing, then ignore them.

The only bugs my kitties will touch are crickets. Others are cause for swatting (from a distance) and hiding. Laughing

Bijoux loves to chase knats and moths. Everything else he just watches fly around very intently, and if it literally bugs him he complains to the management to do something about it.

Arwen was the bugger. She would chase every bug and insect that made into the house. Sometimes she was able to catch some of the critters and she even ate them.

the Rescue Kitties like to watch and swat at bugs....they will kill bugs but they don't go after big icky spiders. I tell them they need to get the SPIDERS cuz they're they things that will bite me and make me sick. Yet they just watch them crawl around!

Bijoux will sometimes follow a buggie around so we do know there is one in the place, but won't swat at it much. A big hairy spider he cries for us to come kill it before it eats him.

Well Boo hasn't chased anything all day. Her main activies seem to be
sleeping, more sleeping with an occassional trip to food and water bowl,
Litterbox.

With the heat and humidity you've been having lately who can blame her? I wouldn't want to move or do much beyond sleeping either. I presume she's been sleeping where the cool breeze is at it's strongest for maximum cooling comfort?

If it is too hot down there to chase bugs, Jay Jay recommends waiting until night time to go outside and pounce on the fireflies! He swears that Boo will love that!
