Just finished watching Fort Apache. john Wayne, Henry Ford. Shirley Temple. Ward Bond
lot's of others. One correction I posted somewhere else about John Saxon, it was John Agar.
Still it's a good movie and well worth a visit.

I am wearing a kevlar vest and carrying an umbrella to protect me from the slings and arrows and tomatoes that usually come with my next comment. I liked Howard the Duck. Twisted Evil

I think I saw that. No, I know I saw that. I just don't remember it. Maybe that's all I need to say. Razz

I liked the two Garfield movies and The Haunted Mansion. Yes I KNOW they are not very good films...but I did not think they were THAT bad.

Howard the Duck, eh? I never saw it, even though it was produced by george Lucas. And I remember Lea Thonmpson, not from Caroline, but from the Back to the Future movies.

I have no shame and I used to read the comics. I really like Lea Thompson and loved Caroline in the City.

Well, who doesn't? I read the advice column & the funnies every morning with coffee. I save the "news" for lunchtime. But I think Bob was proudly wearing his comic book badge.

I never saw Caroline in the City but I love Lea Thompson. Maybe I'll try it on Netflix if I ever come to the end of ER.

These are a few of my favorite things: The (original) Parent Trap and Pollyanna. I may be repeating myself. How about this? I loved Clue! I can't figure out why everyone hates it. It was hilarious!

I think you are repeating yourself, Suzzzzz. Parent Trap and Pollyanna are two of my all time faves as well. along with The Trouble With Angels. I had a real fixation on Hayley Mills !
In fact , in yesterdays mail was an invitiation to join a dvd club for disney but I was disappointed that they didn;t have Parent Trap and Pollyanna.

Ooof! Murder by Death! ROTFL
Any reader of cosy Brit murder mysteries with a smattering of hard-boiled American tough-guy fare, plus 30's murder mystery movies, will love that! I own it and watch it when I just need to relax and have some fun. I'm not a big fan of "star vehicles" where the movie is secondary to the stars involved, but in the case of both MBD and Clue, the characters, played to the hilarious hilt by some of the best, make that old "country house murder mystery" chestnut absolutely rock!
